Helping Kids Stay in the Game
Youth sports build confidence, teamwork, friendships, and lifelong memories — but the cost of gear can make participation difficult for many families. The Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Heritage Sports Locker Swap Program exists to remove that barrier.
We collect gently used sports equipment and athletic gear and connect it with local student-athletes who can put it to great use. By sharing resources within our community, we help more children stay active, healthy, and involved in the sports they love.
♻️ Give Gear a Second Life
Children grow quickly, and equipment that fit last season often sits unused. Instead of letting those items collect dust, donate them so another young athlete can benefit.
We accept gently used items such as:
• Cleats and athletic shoes
• Shin guards and protective gear
• Baseball, softball, and soccer equipment
• Basketballs, footballs, and training gear
• Helmets, pads, gloves, and more
All donated items are distributed at no cost to families in need.
Our program proudly serves families in Western North Carolina.
