The clouds from Hurricane (hopefully soon to be Tropical Storm) Ian have rolled in overnight. It does not look like we will get too much rain in the mountains of Western NC which is a relief! Continued prayers to the folks of SW Florida that have been devasted by this storm.

We are seeing more color daily and if I had to guess we may be on track for a peak in the 3rd week of October which is normally the case!

It is a crisp morning in Maggie Valley with bright blue skies! Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by Hurricane/Tropical Storm Ian. We have our eye on him here in the mountains as he heads north. If you are heading towards the mountains this weekend please keep an eye on the weather forecast.
